About Me

Hello internet family! My name is Joel.

I'm a people person, a husband, a dad, a work-in-progress fitness and a photo/video-making nerd. Making pictures and videos started as a hobby, something to do that wasn't playing guitar or paddling a canoe, and it was a way to remember some of my family travels and adventures. After I got married, those photos became more treasured, again after our first child and even more after our second child. Taking pictures and videos to document our life is my way of remembering our history as a family. It's also a way to share those memories with our kids.

Authentic people, amazing places and inspiring moments are what excite me about making photos and videos.
